A
sensational revelation was made by Mr. Jimmy R Jagtiani who himself is a
Grandmaster in the sport of Taekwondo and is also referred to as Father of
Taekwondo in India, that one Mr. Harish Kumar an ex IPS officer and a known
felon had illegally hijacked the Taekwondo Federation of India and was unlawfully conduct the activities of
TFI, Lucknow, obtaining funds and grant-in-aid from Sporting
Organizations/Federations, Department of youth Affairs & Sports, Government
of India and other agencies to the tune of 100 Crore.
Harish
Kumar submitted bail application to the
Learned Trial Court, Judicial Magistrate – II on 10.04.2014, prying to consider
the guidelines provide by the Hon’ble Apex Court in “Lal Kamlendra Pratap Singh
Vs State & U.P. along with others.
The Learned Trail Court observed that Harish Kumar is not fit to be allowed
bail, and according to the Learned Trial
Court observation, the accused is fit for life long imprisonment and rejected the
bail application on 10.04.2014.
The
District Judge on 23.04.2014, impounded the passport of Harish Kumar, so-called
President of Taekwondo Federation of India, and declared that the accused
(Harish Kumar) was not allow to leave the Country or going abroad till the final of the Order in
Criminal Case No. 2513/2013 file by Jimmy R. Jagtiani. The accused (Harish
Kumar) has to appear on every date fixed in the Trial Court personally.
